Natalie Bolton, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Natalie Bolton received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville in 2008. She also has an M.A. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies Education, and a B.A. in Secondary Education, Social Sciences major in History and minor in Geography.
Natalie's research explores education policy, student achievement, and social studies/civic education. She has a special interest in large-scale assessments, standards-based education reform, classroom-based formative assessment, standards-based grading practices, cognitive sciences, and program evaluation. Cody Ding, Ph.D.
Professor
Dr. Cody Ding completed his Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He was trained as a psychologist emphasizing developmental psychology, methodology, and measurement. Over the years, he has been working as a professor at universities, teaching educational and psychological assessment, behavioral analysis, and other methodological related courses. His research interests include growth modeling, machine learning, big data analysis, network modeling, multidimensional scaling, and the effects of social experiences on cognition.
Shea Kerkhoff, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Kerkhoff utilizes mixed methods to investigate critical, digital,
and global literacies. Her work has been published in Teaching and
Teacher Education, Reading and Writing: An Interdisciplinary Journal,
and Reading Research Quarterly. She taught high school English for
seven years, including North Carolina and District of Columbia Public Schools.
Erin McClure Fastzkie, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Erin McClure Fastzkie is an Assistant Professor of School Psychology in the College of Education's Department of Education Sciences and Professional Programs. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and a licensed psychologist in Missouri. Dr. Fastzkie completed her Ph.D. in school psychology from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and her internship at the Louisiana School Psychology Internship Consortium (LAS-PIC) in New Orleans, Louisiana.
