Michael W. Bahr, Ph.D.
Associate Professor Emeritus
Dr. Bahr earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Cardinal Glennon College and a Master of Education Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a graduate of Indiana University's APA-accredited School Psychology Program, where he obtained the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Educational Psychology with Specialization in School Psychology. His research interests are in the areas of prevention science and cultural competence.
Natalie Bolton, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Natalie Bolton received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville in 2008. She also has an M.A. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies Education, and a B.A. in Secondary Education, Social Sciences major in History and minor in Geography.
Natalie's research explores education policy, student achievement, and social studies/civic education. She has a special interest in large-scale assessments, standards-based education reform, classroom-based formative assessment, standards-based grading practices, cognitive sciences, and program evaluation. Cody Ding, Ph.D.
Professor
Dr. Cody Ding completed his Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He was trained as a psychologist emphasizing developmental psychology, methodology, and measurement. Over the years, he has been working as a professor at universities, teaching educational and psychological assessment, behavioral analysis, and other methodological related courses. His research interests include growth modeling, machine learning, big data analysis, network modeling, multidimensional scaling, and the effects of social experiences on cognition.
Charles R. Granger, Ph.D.
Curators’ Teaching Professor
Professor Granger earned a B.S. in botany and zoology from Iowa State University, an M.S. in Biology and an M.S. in science education, both from the University of Pennsylvania, and Ph.D. in plant physiology and science education from the University of Iowa. He is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Biology Association for Teachers, the National Science Supervisors Association, and the National Association for Research in Science Education. Professor Granger has received numerous teaching awards, including the University of Missouri system Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching and is Secretary of The Academy of Science of St. Louis.
Lloyd I. Richardson, Jr., Ph.D.

He was named Curators' Teaching Professor in 2003. He has secured over $9 million of external funding and served as PI or Co-PI on over $37 million of external funding.
