Erin McClure Fastzkie, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor

Dr. Erin McClure Fastzkie is an Assistant Professor of School Psychology in the College of Education's Department of Education Sciences and Professional Programs. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and a licensed psychologist in Missouri. Dr. Fastzkie completed her Ph.D. in school psychology from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and her internship at the Louisiana School Psychology Internship Consortium (LAS-PIC) in New Orleans, Louisiana. Alina Slapac, Ed.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educator Preparation & Leadership (2017-presently) who received The Chancellor's Award of Excellence in Teaching (UMSL, 2020),  Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award (UMSL, 2013), O.L. Davis, Jr. Counselor of Distinction Award (KDP, 2015), to name a few. She has been the Counselor for KDP MU Iota Chapter since 2009.  She has been teaching face-to-face, blended and online graduate and undergraduate courses (e.g., Teacher Action Research I & II Capstone, Action Research for Educational Practitioners, Positive Behavioral Supports in Inclusive Educational Settings, Student Teaching Abroad (South Korea).
