The meeting was held virtually and any needs, updates, or concerns were expressed to Phil through email. Those listed here below voted virtually through a google doc form.

Results from the voting from our CPQC Google Form March meeting:

  • We voted unanimously to approve the February meeting minutes
  • We voted unanimously to approve CNS ED 6420 pending a minor edit to change from passive to active voice.
  • We voted unanimously to approve TCH ED 4391 pending a minor edit to change from passive to active voice.

Announcements:

Doctoral Dissertation and Travel Grant Selection Subcommittee

  • “Announcement for Spg 2021 scholarships went out last week. Applications are due on March 1”

Education certification subcommittee

  • “The Ed Cert Subcommittee also met virtually this month due to the AACTE annual meeting. We had only course for approval so nothing else to report at this time.”

Office of Educator Effectiveness and Accreditation

  • “Brian has collected and processed the Teaching Beliefs and Mindsets Survey data for this term and submitted to Deans for Impact. John and Melanie are assisting with the informational material needed for an upcoming faculty workshop. At this workshop, faculty will update course descriptions and course outcomes on syllabi as part of the Curriculum Alignment Process (CAP). Brian, John, and Melanie are gathering and organizing data for the University's Five Year Review.”

Next meeting will be Wednesday, April 7th over Zoom from 1-3pm.
