Dean Taylor introduced Dr. Charles Pearson, Superintendent, Normandy Schools Collaborative. Document was distributed: Normandy School Collaborative Five Pillars: Accountability, Collaboration, Professionalism, Trust, and Respect
Dr. Pearson discussed the following updates for the district:

- Timeline for reclassification

II. Report of the Graduate Education Council – Donald Gouwens
Motion was made to approve the following course changes or to be added:
- CNS ED 6270: School Counseling Practicum, change prerequisite;
- CNS ED 6370: Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum I, change prerequisite;
- CNS ED 6840: Counseling Sexual and Gender Minorities, change course title;
- ED FND 6202: Race and Culture in Educational Reform and Policy (formally ED ADM 6202: Social Contexts of Education), title and description change;
- EDUC 6422: History of African American Education, add course;
- ED FND 6430: Ecological Context of Urban Education (formally Critical Race Theory in Education), course and description change;
- ED PSY 6542: Social-Emotional and Behavior Interventions, prerequisite change;
- ED PSY 6590: School Psychology Practicum I, prerequisite change;
- ED PSY 6591: School Psychology Practicum II, prerequisite change;
- ED PSY 6598: School Psychology Internship I, prerequisite change;
- ED PSY 6599: School Psychology Internship II, prerequisite change;
- ED REM 6718: Psychoeducational Assessment and Intervention, prerequisite change;
- ED REM 6719: Advanced Psychoeducational Assessment and Intervention, prerequisite change;

Motion approved.
Motion was made to approved the following programs changes:
- M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, update department name and add admission requirements;
- M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education, requirement changes;
- M.Ed. in Community Education, revised M.Ed. in Education Administration with an Emphasis in Community Education;
Motion approved.
Motion was made to approve the following course changes or to be added:
- EDUC 6142: The History and Practice of Community Education, new course;
- TCH ED 6440: Innovation in Experiential Education, title and description change;
- ED TECH 6460: Technology Development in Community Organizations, title and description change;
- EDUC 6442: Leadership in Community Education, curricular designation changed from TCH ED to EDUC, description change;
- EDUC 2002: Social Entrepreneurship, new course;
Motion approved.
Motion was made to approve the following courses changes:
- CNS ED 7000: Advanced Theories and Practice of Counseling (formally Advanced Theories and Foundations of Psychology), course title change;
- CNS ED 7030: Counselor Education and Supervision of Individuals and Groups (formally Counselor Education and Supervision), course title change;
- EDUC 7605: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (formally Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Educational Practice), course title change;
- EDUC 7950: Preparation for Writing the Dissertation Proposal, course credit change from 1 to 3.;
Motion approved.
Motion was made to approve the revised Ph.D. program. Motion was made to table vote. Seconded. Approved.
