Conscious Choice

Conscious Choice is an approach to reducing teen pregnancies by building a supportive community. Participating young women who make the conscious choice to delay motherhood and graduate from high school are recognized and rewarded.

RITE supports the Conscious Choice program with UMSL scholarships, special events, and gifts. In addition, Conscious Choice collaborates with community partners for mentoring and provides workshops on such topics as bullying, etiquette, and reproductive health.
