Kathleen M. Haywood, retired Associate Dean and Professor in the College of Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, is an internationally recognized author in the field of life span motor development. She has co-authored both undergraduate and graduate level textbooks in that field. Professor Haywood also writes extensively about the instruction of archery and has texts on learning to shoot archery and on teaching archery, in addition to chapters on teaching archery in schools and principles of safety in teaching archery.
