Natalie Bolton, Ph.D.
Associate Professor

Natalie Bolton received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville in 2008. She also has an M.A. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies Education, and a B.A. in Secondary Education, Social Sciences major in History and minor in Geography. Natalie's research explores education policy, student achievement, and social studies/civic education. She has a special interest in large-scale assessments, standards-based education reform, classroom-based formative assessment, standards-based grading practices, cognitive sciences, and program evaluation. Jennifer Bumble, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor

Jennifer Bumble, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of special education at the University of Missouri St. Louis. She received her doctorate in special education from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Her research and teaching focuses on school-community partnerships and evidence-based strategies to improve employment, higher education, and independent living outcomes for youth with a wide range of abilities.

Judith A. Cochran, Ph.D.
E. Desmond Lee Endowed Professor in Tutorial Education

Judith Cochran serves as Endowed Professor in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and the Director of the E. Desmond Lee Regional Institute of Tutorial Education (RITE), a collaborative of six universities, Jennings, St. Louis Public and Normandy School Districts and ten youth agencies. Before her selection as an E. Desmond Lee Endowed Professor, Dr. Cochran was the Director of Teacher Education at Wright State University, Assistant Dean of Students at Arizona State University and a Senior Fulbright Lecturer in Egypt and Turkey.
