Shea Kerkhoff, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor

Dr. Kerkhoff utilizes mixed methods to investigate critical, digital, and global literacies. For her dissertation study, she was named an International Literacy Association Outstanding Dissertation Finalist. Her work has been published in Teaching and Teacher Education, Reading and Writing: An Interdisciplinary Journal, and Reading Research Quarterly. She taught high school English for seven years, including North Carolina and District of Columbia Public Schools. In 2018 she was named a Longview Foundation Global Teacher Educator fellow.

Helene J. Sherman, Ed.D.
Scholar in Residence

     Helene J. Sherman, Ed. D., is an Emeritus Professor in the College of Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She earned her undergraduate degree in elementary education at Washington University in St. Louis and a masters and doctorate degree in education at UM-St. Louis. Dr. Sherman taught elementary school and mathematics in middle school and at community colleges. During her 25-year tenure at UM-SL, she taught undergraduate and graduate mathematics education and STEM courses. Kim Song, Ed.D.
Professor

Kim H. Song, Professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, received her Ed.D in Instructional Processes from Southern Illinois University –Edwardsville in 1991. Kim is a bilingual in Korean and English, and her main research interests include:
