Center for Character and Citizenship

Beatrice Shivers is Program/Project Support Coordinator for the Center for Character and Citizenship at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She operates as key administrative, human resources, and communications liaison for faculty, researchers and international visitors interacting daily with leading scholars and dignitaries across the globe.  She coordinates the Character Education focused Emerging Leaders (CEEL), Sanford N. McDonnell Leadership Academy in Character Education (LACE), and the Summer Institute in Character Education (SICE). She supports the fiscal operations of grants and have great knowledge of the University of Missouri System, MIS Web Applications. Beatrice earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College of Missouri and an M.B.A. in Human Resources Management from Missouri Baptist University. Beatrice received the Rosa Lee Mullins Outstanding Staff Member and Positive Attitude Award (UMSL).
