Join the Corps and Help Build a Better Future

UM-St. Louis has been a University Partner with Teach for America since 2006. TFA recruits outstanding recent college graduates from all backgrounds and career interests to commit to teach for two years in urban and rural public schools. Approximately 100 TFA Corps members are placed in the St. Louis region each year. As the university partner, UM-St. Louis provides corps members with the necessary coursework for them to earn their teaching certification in the two year period. Most Corps members complete additional coursework and earn their Masters degree in education.

Individuals interested in learning more about Teach for America/UMSL partnership should visit our website at gocoe.umsl.edu/TFA. Teach for America coordinates all of the recruitment activities. Feel free, however, to contact us for more information about UMSL TFA Partnership activities.
