About MyCOE
The Academic Audit verifies your readiness for practicum courses.
Once you have submitted a complete application, an academic advisor will audit your application for the following requirements:
- All proper application documentation, including the Substitute Certificate
- Successful completion (grade of C or above) in certification courses
- Overall GPA and content GPA requirements met
- Admittance to the TEP (Teacher Education Program)
- Prerequisite math sequence completed (for ELE, ECH, and SPEC certifications)
**If you are not accepted into Practicum I based on the above criteria, your Practicum I will be delayed until your Practicum I is offered again, which will be a full calendar year for these certification areas: Middle School, Sciences, Math, Foreign Languages, and Art.
