Princess Davis started her career in higher education in 2006. She has a strong background in student programming and leadership. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2007 from Lincoln University and her Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration in 2016 from Southeast Missouri State University. While attending SEMO, she was awarded a graduate assistantship and full scholarship within the Office of Campus Life and Event Services. She came to join the College of Education in 2006 and has served as an Academic Advisor and co-coordinates the Teach in 12 and Temporary Authorization Alternative Certification programs. Princess is very passionate about social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion. As such, she is certified through the UM System in Advanced Social Justice Mediation and currently serves as Chair of the COE Dean's Committee for Social Justice and is a panelist for the Equity Resolution Hearing Panel. She also assists with the creation of diversity and equity professional development seminars for the COE.
