Ellen Meadows has worked in advising for the UMSL College of Continuing Education and for the College of Education since 2003. Her earlier career was spent in secondary education, where she taught both gifted and remedial students. As the Director of Advising for the UMSL College of Education, she manages advisors for both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Education and works to support the success of UMSL COE students and the education community in St. Louis. Born in Oklahoma and a proud member of Cherokee Nation, she grew up in Oregon and completed her earlier education in Oklahoma and Missouri, where she has lived since 1993.
