Dr. Eric Turley

Eric Turley, co-director of the English Education Program, holds a joint appointment in the Department of English, College of Arts and Sciences, and the Division of Teaching and Learning, College of Education. His research interests include composition, pedagogy, writing assessment, and the politics of literacy. Currently, Professor Turley is writing The Scientific Management of Writing and the Residue of Reform. He teaches undergraduate courses such as The Curriculum and Methods of Teaching English, English Teaching Seminar, Writing for Teachers, and Graduate courses in Studies in Composition and Theories of Writing.
