Matthew E. Lemberger received his Ph. D. in Counselor Education from
the University of South Carolina in 2006. Dr. Lemberger has worked as
a professional school counselor in a high school and in an elementary
school. Additionally, he has professional counseling experiences
working with children and adolescents in public and private community
settings.
Research
Dr. Lemberger’s primary research interests include school counseling, urban youth, student achievement, self-regulation, socio-cultural issues (especially related to oppressed and traditionally marginalized groups), Individual Psychology, and clinical supervision.
Teaching
Dr. Lemberger’s teaching interests are in the areas of school counseling, group counseling, theories of counseling, cultural studies, and clinical supervision.
