Application for Internship and Music Student Teaching [ Gate 2 ]
To apply for the FS10 Internship and Music Student Teaching (Gate 2), you will need to:
- Complete and upload your content area's application along with your personal statement
- Complete a background check using BACH (the COE's Background-Check site):
Background checks expire after one year. We highly encourage you to purchase the multi-year option.
- Complete and upload your resumé:
If you need assistance with writing your resumé, please call Career Services at 516-5111. They will be happy to assist you in reviewing and perfecting your resumé.
- Scan and upload a copy of a current Tuberculosis (TB) test:
Please note when your TB test will expire, which is one year from the date it was conducted. You must upload a new one when the current one expires. Write this date down in your planner, so you will know exactly when to get a new TB test administered.
- Scan and upload a copy of your letter of reference:
Your letter of reference should be written by someone who has knowledge of you as an employee. If you have been employed in a position that works with children, this is your best option. Otherwise, secure a letter of reference from someone who can speak to your professionalism.
You may, at anytime, upload a new TB test, resumé or letter of reference.
