Please call the Graduate Education Office, 314-516-5483, to obtain these materials. Students entering with GPAs below 2.75 are admitted on restricted status and required to obtain a 3.0 graduate GPA in their first 12 graduate hours.
Students cannot be admitted to the M.Ed. in Secondary Education program combined with teacher certification work with a GPA below 2.50 under any circumstance.
The GRE is not required for M.Ed. work.
Enrolling in Courses
You cannot enroll in courses until you have been admitted unless you are enrolling in a course offered by the UM-St. Louis Continuing Education division. Once admitted you should call the Graduate Education Office at 314-516-5483 to make an appointment with the Coordinator of Graduate Advising. The graduate advisor assists students with their first semester schedules. You should complete an Advisor Information Form as soon as possible so that a faculty advisor can be assigned. The faculty advisor will assist you for the balance of your studies.
