The Dean’s Committee for Social Justice - Welcome

The mission of the Dean’s Committee on Social Justice is:

To enrich and enhance the knowledge, skills and disposition   of faculty and staff in the College of Education in the areas of diversity and social justice in an effort to improve the climate and culture of the work place and reflect these improvements in administrative and teaching practices and in the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty, staff and student body.

To dramatically increase the number of students in the College of Education who graduate as highly qualified professionals and are able to demonstrate the skills and understandings necessary to work successfully in schools and other educational settings with diverse populations.
