Hubert Dyasi is Professor Emeritus of Science Education at City College of City University of New York. In 2008, Dyasi was awarded the Distinguished Service to Science Education Award from the National Science Teachers Association. He currently serves as a consultant with organizations such as the United Nations and the National Science Resources Center, as well as with schools such as the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Kevin Leander is an Associate Professor in Teaching and Learning at Vanderbilt University. He is interested in how students use literacy practices, including emerging digital literacies, to produce new space-time relationships to their worlds.
William Penuel is Senior Education Researcher with the Center for Technology in Learning at SRI International. His work centers on developing and testing new methodologies for studying the effectiveness of designs for learning in school and community settings.
Carol Stearns is a former Program Director at the National Science Foundation, working in the Directorate for Education & Human Resources. She holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry, and is co-editor of Assessing Science Learning: Perspectives from Research and Practice.
